Dates for Swift Craft 2025

Our first event was a great success, with lots of positive feedback and, from everyone we spoke to, an almost unanimous desire to come back next year!

So we wanted to let you know that we already have the dates for our 2025 event:

19th-21st May 2025

That's Monday-Wednesday.

Reformat

If you came to this year's event there will be a few changes to the format for next year, but no changes to the magic formula.

First, we're going to move to a single-track event. These are common in our community, and avoid the FOMO feeling that many reported experiencing - despite being at the event! It also lets us make better use of our venue, as the main hall is a good size theatre that can hold up to 800 people! Don't worry, we'll still be making use of the downstairs section - with its floor-to-ceiling glass walls, overlooking the sea on three sides. Rather than covering that view up with blinds so we can see projectors, we'll use the area for our breaks, exhibition area and dedicated space for hanging out. We may even hold some additional, non-content, sessions there.

We're dropping to three days overall. The main conference is still two full days, but now we'll have just one extra day of workshops and/ or tutorials. That day will be the Monday.

These adjustments, following feedback we've had and observations we've made, should set us on a great course to continue sustainably and grow - so please spread the word. We want more people to experience the magic of Swift Craft.
